The effect of Adrenalin (100 mcg).
The data above were acquired from a normal, 75 Kg virtual patient.
At the arrow, the patient was given a 100 mcg dose of intravenous adrenalin. The systolic blood pressure (Red) rose from ~ 115 mm Hg to ~ 180 mm Hg and the heart rate (Green) from ~ 70 bpm to ~ 110 bpm. 10 minutes into the simulation, the effect of the drug had largely disappeared.
