About the app

The application has been written by Dr Andy Pybus who is a practising cardiac anaesthetist  from Sydney, Australia.

The idea for the application was first suggested by Dr Genevieve Goulding who also undertook much of the early testing and development.  Dr Goulding is a practising obstetric anaesthetist from Brisbane, Australia.

The authors are grateful to the World Health Organization for granting permission to publish their surgical safety checklist in modified form.
